User Management

VoiCase's role-based access control system ensures that sensitive case data is accessible only to authorized team members.

Roles

  • Admin — full platform access including organization settings, billing, and all case data
  • Compliance Officer — full case access, triage authority, assignment capabilities, and analytics access
  • Investigator — access to assigned cases only, with ability to add notes, evidence, and status updates
  • Viewer — read-only access to cases and analytics as permitted by their role configuration
  • Designated Person — EU Directive-specific role for the person responsible for receiving and following up on reports

Team Structure

Organize your team into groups that reflect your organizational structure:

  • Create regional teams (e.g., EMEA Compliance, APAC Ethics) with jurisdiction-specific case routing
  • Set up functional teams (e.g., Financial Investigations, HR Investigations) for specialized case handling
  • Configure backup investigators to prevent bottlenecks during absences

Access Controls

  • Case-level restrictions — restrict individual cases to specific team members based on sensitivity or conflict-of-interest considerations
  • Category-based access — limit certain case categories (e.g., executive misconduct) to senior team members only
  • Data residency controls — ensure team members in specific jurisdictions can only access cases within their data residency boundary
  • Audit log — all access events are logged for compliance and security review
