Case Management
The Case Hub is VoiCase's central workspace for managing investigations from intake to closure. Every report submitted through any channel appears here for triage, assignment, and resolution tracking.
Case Lifecycle
Every case moves through a standard lifecycle:
- New — a report has been received and awaits initial review
- In Triage — the report is being assessed for category, severity, and assignment
- Under Investigation — an investigator has been assigned and work is in progress
- Pending Review — investigation findings are complete and awaiting approval
- Closed — the case has been resolved with documented findings and outcomes
Each stage transition is logged in the case's audit trail with timestamps and the user who performed the action.
Assignment and Routing
Cases can be assigned manually or automatically:
- Manual assignment — a compliance officer reviews the case and assigns it to an investigator based on expertise, availability, and conflict-of-interest considerations
- Auto-routing — configure rules based on case category, severity, or reporting location to automatically route cases to specific team members or teams
- AI-suggested assignment — VoiCase's AI recommends the best-fit investigator based on case characteristics and team workload
Case Actions
- Add notes — internal investigation notes visible only to assigned team members
- Attach evidence — upload documents, images, and files to the case record
- Send follow-up questions — communicate with anonymous reporters through the platform without revealing their identity
- Link related cases — connect cases that may be related for pattern detection
- Set deadlines — add investigation milestones with automatic reminders
- Export case file — generate a formatted PDF of the complete case record for legal review or regulatory submission
